TOPICS BEING COVERED:
-The purpose of grounding. Grounding the mind, the body and our energy. Grounding of the mind brings us to mindfulness, a place of peace and clarity. Grounding of the body helps to dispose of negative toxins, dirt and/or anxiety. Grounding of our energy helps rid us of excess energy, negative energy and brings us closer to the Earth.
-Being aware of how and where you ground, what works best for you. How do you pull your energy in? How do you put your energy out? Where do you do this? Where don’t you do this?
-Engaging all your senses as your ground, finding the method that works best for you.
-The purpose of centering. How we pull our energy back into ourselves once grounded and the benefits of doing so. Recognizing how much our energy touches and what we displace during our practice or devotions. Collectively bringing all of that back to ourselves and not unknowingly stretching ourselves too thin or allowing our energy to remain with those who are undeserving or unhealthy.
-How to center. Visualizing your energy, using your senses to feel how far your energy reaches around you. Centering allows us to pull that in, helping us control our own abilities and flow of energy.
-The purpose of shielding. The pros are protection of self and energy, possibly the protection of others. The cons are blocking off abilities, dreams or connection through misdirected intention or fear. Explain how some things may enhance our shields, such as stones, pendants or other crafted items.
-How to set shielding and the different types, such as the use of a mirror or bubble. We will also discuss vibrations such as singing, or hand motions such as mudras.
